Before making his college selection, James sought feedback from alumni who had graduated from UND and his experience has been all it was hyped up to be. "I knew I wanted to study engineering and the alumni spoke very highly of the university and its program." Once James was ready to dive deeper into his col- lege involvement, he had his first chance to meet some of his friends in the brotherhood around a pool table his freshman year. "Seeing the close- ness of these brothers that day has been one of my fondest memories so far." One member in particular has attributed to his growth in the chapter and affirmed James' decision to pledge to ATΩ. "Seth Sherlock '14 has had the great- est impact on my brotherhood in the Delta Nu Chapter. I found his drive to study very admira- ble and wanted to emulate his behavior. He was a great asset during elections due to how in-depth he analyzed each nominee's personality and their potential fit." James plans to graduate in 2019 and move into computer hardware engineering or embedded systems. "e interpersonal and leadership skills I've developed being a brother have made me more confident in taking leadership roles. I'm sure the foundation I've developed with ATΩ will allow me to flourish in any field I choose." Adversity is the attribute that James is most grateful for the chapter. "When faced correctly, it can strengthen the bonds among a group of people. Our members have proven that our positive attitude will shine through and fi- nally be demonstrated in 2020 once we have our new house." With the approaching build of the new ATΩ house, adversity is what has kept the men of Delta Nu Chapter connected when faced with hard times. "I'm proud to call myself a Delta Nu "ATΩ Is My Bedrock" Worthy Chaplain James Langfeld '19 Looks Forward to the Rebuild of 3000 University
