E-Newsletters PARENTS' CLUB CONTINUES TO SUPPORT KS BETA T he men of Sigma Phi Epsilon welcomed their moms to Manhattan for Mom's Weekend on April 13-14. Activities included a dinner grouped by pledge class for both Friday and Saturday night. This allowed for moms to get to know their son's friends and their moms. We also gathered for lunch that was prepared by our house chef on Saturday, bid on items at the silent auction, and went bowling. After dinner, most of the moms spent time with their sons at the house. Money raised from our auction was used to purchase some new formal living room furniture. Oth- er wish list items are being considered to improve the house and may include possible exterior beautification and/or landscaping. This fall, the SigEp Family Weekend BBQ lunch was held at the house on September 15, when the Cats de- feated the University of Texas, San Antonio (UTSA) in Manhattan. Dad's Weekend, October 5-6, included golf at Colbert Hills and a watch party for the KSU vs. Baylor football game. The Parents' Club is continuing to fund a monthly piz- za dinner for the Chapter during the 2018-19 school year. The members love having pizza delivered since meals are not provided on the weekends. We look forward to another exciting school year at Sigma Phi Epsilon.
