5 ALPHA DELTA PI The 97 Hours of Giving event kicked off with a tailgate and open house prior to the OSU Cowboys football game against Texas Tech and had more than 250 people in attendance. Educational Housing Fund Co-Chairman, Connie Staff Stiegler '64 said "We are so grateful to our wonderful sisters who planned and coordinated this tailgate. Their hard work was appreci- ated by everyone who attended." Jennifer Polley Webb, Executive Director of the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation was also at the chapter house to help launch the event. "We are overwhelmed with the number of gifts we received from many sisters who have already made campaign commitments, several new pledges for the Alpha Omicron Educational Housing Fund and many increased pledges," she said. "The total fundraising goal for this project is $1.5million and the 97 Hours event helped us get even closer to reaching that milestone." Webb added, "This house will offer access to the best in technology, updated equipment and resources in learning spaces, healthy living and a home that can offer support for academic success. Our chapter house will ensure that our members have a safe and supportive environment where they can live and learn, while also giving them a place to spend time with sisters."
