4 The Lion's Share 57 NEW MEMBERS Alpha Omicron has hit the ground running this fall and is off to an exciting final year in our house at 1309 W. University! During recruitment, we hit quota and chapter total, as we welcomed home 57 Alphas with a disco-themed Bid Day. These women spent their semester going through Alpha Member Education Sessions and fun sisterhood building activities. We celebrated their initiation on November 2 and look forward to seeing the incredible impact they make on our beloved Alpha Omicron Chapter. FAMILY AND PHILANTHROPY Oklahoma State's Dad's Day on September 9 was such a fun time for our members and their families as they enjoyed a tailgate on Murray Lawn. Complete with burgers, yard games, and a chance for families to visit with one another, this Dad's Day was one for the books! A special thanks to all those who came and helped make this event so successful! We hosted our fourth annual Pizookie night at the chapter house on September 19, serving warm cookies with ice cream to over 1,000 members of the Oklahoma State community. We are pleased to announce that we raised $5,600 for Ronald McDonald House Charities. SISTERHOOD EVENTS Our Sisterhood Retreat was held at Camp Redlands on September 29. Members dressed in their best camp attire for a day of games, s'mores, sisterhood, tie-dying, and learning how we as members can improve our chapter! Homecoming Walkaround was held on October 27. Alpha Delta Pi and Beta Theta Pi came together to create a "decades of music"-themed deck titled "'Til the music is gone, we'll ride on!" We loved making memories with our sisters and the men of Beta Theta Pi and enjoyed participating in the numerous Homecoming events. On November 30, we hosted our annual Formal in Stillwater at White Barn. Our members celebrated a fun and successful semester with a chocolate fountain and dancing the night away! As Alpha Omicron sisters, we cherish the friendships and memories we have created over our collegiate years. Our ties are unbreakable and friendships lifelong! We would like to thank the alumnae of Alpha Omicron for their unconditional support and dedication to our chapter. The Alpha Omicron collegiate members are honored to preserve the legacy of those before us with the development of our new chapter home.
