Tau Beta's P roud History
F
rom our founding to the present, Tau Beta has pursued and attained high levels
of academic achievement, and we have been leaders in virtually every aspect
of student life at Oklahoma State University. With more than 3,300 initiates, Tau Beta has
influenced the lives of so many women, cultivating lifelong friendships in the process. As
alumnae, we can trace many of our best memories back to our home at 310 South Monroe.
More than ever, sororities play a significant role in the development of young women, and
this growth is crucial in today's competitive world. In addition to the values taught by
our fraternity, we acquired beneficial assets, which include leadership, organizational, and
social skills, and refined our character. Often, these traits have been integral to our personal
successes and have helped make us the women we are today. Many Tau Beta alumnae have
gone on to be recognized leaders in both the business world and their communities.
Enjoying a past filled with rich tradition and history, Tau Beta continues to excel. As
alumnae, we have been entrusted with perpetuating this tradition of excellence for the next
generation. It is our collective responsibility to provide future members a safe, competitive,
and quality home at OSU.
With our past and present secure, we look ahead to the next 100 years. The following pages
detail an ambitious dream for the future of 310 South Monroe. This dream will allow Tau
Beta to continue touching lives in the same way it touched yours.
