DELTA NU ANNOUNCES $3 MILLION CAMPAIGN FOR 3000 UNIVERSITY AVENUE $2,102,884 Already Committed from Loyal Brothers T H E D E L T A NEWS A PUB L IC A TIO N O F A L PHA TA U O MEG A F R A TER NITY UNIV ER S ITY O F NO R TH DA K O TA s S UMMER 2018 T he house at 3000 University Avenue impacted the lives of more than 1,000 young men initiated into the Delta Nu Chapter of Alpha Tau Omega at University of North Dakota. It is where we worked and where we became men. It is a support system that provided a lifetime of friendships, contacts, social opportunities, and simply fond memories. We all gained from our time in the chapter and many of us can say it helped form who we are today. It is time to come together to rebuild Delta Nu a home at 3000 University Avenue. FUNDING THE VISION It is our honor and privilege to announce to you the next step in our pledge to excellence at Delta Nu. Over the past year, a capital campaign committee, our Board of Trustees, and undergraduates have committed to the chapter, dedicating time and financial resources to ensure our future success. Now we also need the support of our alumni as we proudly announce The Return to 3000 University Avenue campaign. We are pleased to share that nearly 70% of the campaign goal has already been reached! We still have a long way to go, but with your help we can get there. We now seek additional support from loyal brothers, such as you, to reach our $3 million goal. LOOKING TO THE FUTURE Delta Nu is the only fraternity on campus that does not have a traditional Greek chapter house. Our undergraduate members are working hard to improve recruitment, academics, and philanthropy and to ensure the chapter's success at UND, the campaign board has developed plans to rebuild a home at 3000 University Avenue. A crucial step is to rebuild at 3000 University, which is still the choice site at the center of campus and literally a stones throw away from the Student Union and the Chester Fritz Library. In 2015, the property was sold to UND and subject to a 7-year buy back option, which has recently been exercised. By fall recruitment, 3000 University Avenue will once again be home to the Delta Nu Chapter. In the coming weeks, you will receive additional information detailing our plans for the new chapter house and the ways in which you may help. DUE DILIGENCE Each of us, simply by our presence, has contributed to the history of Delta Nu and now is the time to ensure we continue building on that tradition of excellence. Our housing plans will provide a quality living environment that ensures the fraternity house is appealing and establishes our leaders on campus. We need support from all of our brothers to stay competitive and hope you will join our growing list of loyal supporters who wish to ensure the lasting impact of the Alpha Tau Omega experience on the lives of young men attending UND. STRENGTHENING DELTA NU The brothers who came before us provided the tradition that each of us helped build upon. This is the time in our lives to repay what ATΩ provided us. Those of us who enjoyed the brotherhood, camaraderie, and support of our fraternity will forever owe a debt of gratitude for that unique experience. To attain a top-tier status and attract the finest young men as ATΩs, we must undertake the planned construction of our house at 3000 University Avenue. Now is the time to join us and provide the same wonderful experience to the next generation. Love and Respect, Delta Nu Campaign Leadership
