White Water Fun! White Water, the tropically- themed water park, located in the famed entertainment district of Branson, is known for its big rides, big slides and big thrills! KaPau Plummet launches riders on a mega-thrill, heart-pounding dueling-slide ride. For a more relaxing adventure, Aloha River is a quarter-mile channel, where tube riders fl oat under fountains, misters and geysers. White Water's immersive play area Coconut Cove is designed specifi cally for smaller kids with 8 new tipping buckets adding to the activities for kids along with water slides, water blasters, "bubbler" fountains and hose jets. She's fi lled the tribute shoes of Aretha Franklin at Legends in Concert, and she's appeared in Maxine's Christmas Carol at Andy Williams Performing Arts Center. Now, she owns the spotlight in this new production showcasing three leading ladies with unforgettable voices at the Americana Theater. LandShark Bar & Grill LandShark Bar & Grill will be opening their doors at the Branson Landing this fall. Bringing a little taste of the beach to Branson and allowing guests to escape to the tropics while sipping on a perfectly concocted cocktail, savoring the tastes of our unique, fl avorful menu that ranges from the signature LandShark Burger to their famous Fish Tacos while enjoying live entertainment. In 2000, after being a guest on the Harry Dean Stanton Band, award-winning actor Dennis Quaid was approached by one of the band's members to start up their own band. Quaid, who had not done music in quite some time, agreed to the idea and soon after, Dennis Quaid and the Sharks was born. Since then, the band has gone around playing live shows in many LA clubs, as well as, various other clubs across the country. Dennis Quaid and the Sharks have gained great popularity for their rock 'n' roll/country-soul sound. They perform many original songs as well as covers like Jerry Lee Lewis' Great Balls of Fire, which is fi tting for the band since Quaid performed this song in the 1989 Great Balls of Fire movie. Band members include Dennis Quaid, Jamie James, Tom Slick, Ken Stange, Tom Walsh.
