Box 442100 Lawrence, KS 66044-2100 Address Service Requested Tau Beta Hoot The CHAPTER OMEGA Vivian Joe Miller Collins '50 entered Chapter Omega on February 10. Born April 30, 1931, Vivian graduated from Enid High School and attended Oklahoma A&M College. She married Donald while still in college, graduating from the School of Business in '53. Vivian worked at Vance Air Force Base as a secretary during her collegiate summers while Donald was served in the U.S. Army. The couple had three children: Jo Lynn, Jan, and Scott. Sherry Jo Domnick Porter '62 entered Chapter Omega on February 9, 2018, after suffering complications from Alzheimer's disease. She leaves behind her husband of 51 years, Richard; her children, Amy, Todd, and Jeffrey; and eight grandchildren. ALUMNAE NEWS Ruth Tompkins Smith '37 will celebrate her centennial birthday on June 15. She lives in Midwest City, Okla. Frances White Holloway '49 returned to college at the University of Texas at Dallas in 1980, earning a Ph.D. in geology and micropaleontology. Jeanne spends her time quilting with a great group of friends. She lives in Richardson, Texas. Margaret Randall Hixon '51 moved to Bemidji, Minn., a small town five hours north of Minneapolis, in 2016, where her daughter and her husband live. As Peggy wrote this news update, it was Easter week and snowing. Judith Richardson Smith '58 is celebrating her 60th year as a Chi Omega. Her husband, Gordon (Bud), recently retired, and they enjoy the opportunity to spend their time however they wish. Judy's passion is yoga and bookclubs. The couple live in Enid, Okla. She volunteers in the St. Francis Hospital gift shop, which is very rewarding. Cindy lives in Bixby, Okla. Sarah Powell Miller '98 and her husband, Alex, have lived in Kansas City for nearly 10 years and feel like its home now. Sarah works as an eating disorder specialist in a private practice counseling group. They have two kids, Adeline and George, and a goldendoodle, Annie. Jill loves her job as an registered nurse at The Children's Hospital in OKC. "There is no greater joy than working with children." Bray was an Alpha Gamma Rho at OSU, and they both cherish their time there more than anything.
