Over the past few months, the efforts of our sisters have been recognized and awarded. 24 Semesters of Top-Ranked Grades Our Chapter has ranked first in grades for the past 24 consecutive semesters! We proudly earned a cumulative GPA of 3.67 in fall 2017, compared to overall Panhellenic and all- Greek GPAs of 3.40 and 3.31, respectively. Tau Beta was the recipient of the Outstanding Scholarship Award at this year's 2018 Greek awards! Our talented members are also heavily involved on campus. We have 15 freshmen on the President's Leadership Council, seven PLC Facilitators, six seniors of significance, three out of six outstanding seniors, two out of five Homecoming queen candidates, and five top 10 freshmen. Over $30K Raised for Make-A-Wish Foundation This year's annual Wish Week was a smashing success, benefitting the national Make-A-Wish Foundation. We hosted Frats-at-Bat and Waffles for Wishes, along with benefit nights at local restaurants, and raised more than $30,000! First Place Winner at Varsity Revue and Spring Sing Last fall, we were paired with Kappa Alpha Order for OSU's Homecoming celebration. We teamed up with Alpha Tau Omega for Freshman Follies and earned third place among all Greek houses. This spring, we joined Beta Theta Pi for Varsity Revue and Delta Tau Delta for Spring Sing, where we were won best vocals, best choreography, and secured first place in both shows! In March, we hosted Little Hootie Night, an annual event where alumnae and their daughters, ages 6 through 12, visit the Chapter House for a sleepover. Little Hootie Night is just one of the many occasions where alumnae and parents are welcome to spend time with our Chapter. Intramural Flag Football and Basketball Champions Tau Beta is proud of our involvement in intramural sports. This semester, we won the championship in both the Phi Gamma Delta and the Sigma Phi Epsilon flag football philanthropy tournaments, placed third with Alpha Tau Omega in the intramural basketball co-recreational competitive league, and first in the intramural women's competitive basketball bracket. Tau Beta Delightfully Welcomes 52 New Sisters We had a prosperous year in recruitment, adding 52 new members to our Chapter. Our goal is to always make our new pledge class feel loved and welcomed every day so that they never forget why they chose Chi Omega. I am proud of our sisters' commitments to Chi Omega values, as well as our Chapter's recent accomplishments. Tau Betas are incredible young women who will continue to flourish long after college. We know we would not be in this position to blossom if not for our supportive alumnae, and we invite you to visit our Chapter House anytime.
