A New Chapter in Michigan Gamma's Legacy R e a l i z i n g t h e B i l l F i s c u s Vi s i o n Michigan Gamma Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon • Michigan State University • Spring 2018 LOOK HOW FAR WE'VE COME Add Your Name to Our List of Loyal Supporters W e've talked to you for over the past few years about our Michigan Gamma capital campaign. An impressive $812,367 has been committed to A New Chapter in Michigan Gamma's Legacy, Realizing the Bill Fiscus Vision. More than 157 alumni reflected on their days at Michigan State University and invested in the chapter that gave them lifelong friendships and a permanent home away from home in East Lansing. We hope that you will be inspired by how much Michigan Gamma has already accomplished and help us reach our goal. Below is a breakdown of our goal and funds/pledges collected since the capital campaign began and the remaining contributions needed. $1,000,000 Campaign Goal $812,367 Secured $187,633 Needed to Complete the Campaign Closing the gap between signed pledges and the balance of $187,633 is imperative to getting our chapter on a solid financial foundation, which is a necessity given the price competitiveness of alternative housing. We must raise the balance—that's why we need your attention and action right now. Now is the time for you to step up. This is entirely possible; we just need your help to finish this campaign. Please remember that all donors pledging $2,500 or more (over a five-year period) will have their name displayed on a plaque prominently displayed in the renovated chapter house. It is our goal to have much broader participation than we have now, so any amount you can give is very much appreciated. Only 13% of our alumni have made a pledge. Please help us raise this participation percentage today! You will find a pledge card and return envelope with this newsletter. Please don't put them aside or throw them away—fill out the form now and send it in today. Any pledge you can make that fits within your personal budget is much appreciated. From a distance it is hard to imagine the intricate planning, hard work, and personal sacrifice your alumni leadership and campaign board have made to run a chapter house full of collegians and to pull off this project—but they did it and we have a chapter that is appreciative and a house to be proud of. Please join us and the 157 brothers who have already done our part with cash gifts and pledges to support this project. We need your support now more than ever.
