Friday, 9am – 3pm There are many people who have made our business chamber a big success. When we lost our building several years ago during a micro-burst, Patty Lamb gave us this office trailer, Kym Scott gave us the Quartzsiteopoly game as a fundraiser, Roy Austin and his crew helped with the building, Jean Win- ter donated many times, John and Cheri Prutch volunteered many times, Jim Kirk has been a great landlord, and so many of our business members have helped us over the years. It has been an honor to work with you all. Town Hall and staff also deserve a thanks for their help with the Christmas Light Parade for many years. We are hoping that some other group or the town will keep it going and are willing to help in any way we can. We are very happy to know that the Santa's Workshop Arts and Crafts Fes- tival will be taken over by the Friends of the Food Bank as a fundraiser for the Food Bank--they help so many in town!! After the sale of the trailer and contents, we voted to give the proceeds to the Quartzsite Historical Society and Museum--they are a non-profit and they can really use the money to help promote the history of this area. They do an awesome job at the museum and don't get a lot of funding so this was our choice to receive the funds from this chamber once everything is finally done. In closing, we would like to thank all the visitors and residents who have helped make this business chamber such a success, as well as all the busi- ness members whose support we have received. We will miss seeing every- one who came in to say hello, but as tough a decision as this is, we know it is time for us to retire. We wish the new chamber the best and hope that our business community will continue to prosper and grow. Thank you all.
