We proudly supported Quartzsite Police Department's Law
Enforcement Torch Run event on May 2nd. We were so thank-
ful the weather cooperated. Our team members Cindy, Colleen,
Elaine, Jan, Karen, Lee-Ann, Mary, Neal, Olivia, Steve, and Syl-
via were absolutely awesome!!
Later that morning, at a wonderful breakfast from the VFW Post
769, we presented QPD Chief Ponce and Officer Tanakeyowma
with another $2,000.00 for our grand total of $3,100.00 from
the Quartzsite Salvation Army. These funds were raised from
the generosity of our shoppers and volunteers. It is hard to ex-
press the appreciation and overwhelming support our town has
given us in our support for this Special Olympics event. Thank
you greatly. You are all amazing!
A reminder that we appreciate donations during open hours. We have yel-
low carts out front and we help you unload. Park close to the cement pad.
Donors have been really great following this procedure. YEAH! We are
on our summer days and hours now which are: Tuesday, Wednesday, and
Thursday, from 8:00 AM to Noon. If you have special circumstances for
donations, please call me. Remember we are trying to discourage theft
and vandalism.
We are still looking for a bike rack. Also, if you know of large timbers/
logs for parking designation, let me know, too. Thanks!
I know there must be someone in Quartzsite that likes to tinker on small
electronic items……WE NEED YOU!! Come in and we'll show you a great
workstation with all the tools, supplies, etc., for your use. We are air-con-
ditioned and have a fun time. You choose your time/day. Even an hour or
two would be wonderful.
When you wish good for others, good things come back to you.
