mittee next meeting will be held in
Quartzsite on Thursday, May 10th at
Mountain Quail Cafe, 500 N. Moon
Mt. starting at 6:00 pm.
"We're seeking participation from
fellow Democrats to lend support
and ideas for the upcoming local,
state and national elections and is-
sues," stated Chairperson Monica

Town of Quartzsite announced
elections will be held as follows:
Primary Election August 28, 2018.
General Election November 6, 2018.
Candidate packets are now avail-
able for 5 Council positions. Offi ces
to be fi lled are FOUR (4) Council
member seats with Four-Year
Terms and ONE (1) Council mem-
ber seat with a Two-Year Term.
Any candidate receiving a major-
ity of all votes cast at the Primary
Election will be declared elected
without running at the General
Election.
Candidate packet fi ling dead-
line is by 5:00pm May 30, 2018.
Candidate packets must be fi led
at Quartzsite Town Hall, 465 N.

Voter registration deadline is July
30th for the August 28th Primary.
