Bloom and Boom Fireworks Show
The Bloom and Boom Fireworks Show
is the traditional kick-off to the weekend
of the Dogwood Festival. The fireworks
show begins as the Friday performance is
wrapping up the final song. The fire-
works go off behind the stage, so every-
one in Festival Park can see the show.
Midway
The midway carnival area, now in a new location, features rides and
games for kids.
Air Born Aerials
Local acrobatics performances by the Air Born Aerials will take place
throughout the weekend in front of the iconic Market House.
Dancing
Shadows of the Fire, local bellydancing group, will perform throughout
the weekend in the parking lot beside Hay Street United Methodist Church.
Debbie Pernat Belles, the leader of Shadows of the Fire, also programs the
area to include other dance performances.
Partnership for Children's Kidstuff
Families and children
can enjoy free fun and
learning at the Dogwood
Festival. The Partnership
for Children of Cumberland
County presents Partner-
ship's KidStuff with hands-
on, age and developmen-
tally appropriate activities.
