O klahoma Alpha is known for its tradition of excellence. Now, along with our exceptional brotherhood, we will be known for the best chapter house Oklahoma State University has to offer. Miller-Tippens has made exceptional progress to complete our 23,000 square foot home by June 15, and our undergraduate brothers are eager to move in. Despite not having a chapter house to compete with, the undergraduate brothers brought home a myriad of awards, including third place at Var- sity Revue and an Excelsior award for outstanding recruitment practices at Carlson Leadership Academy. Oklahoma Alpha even had the unique op- portunity to host the 2018 Carlson Leadership Academy, which provides interactive officer training and recognizes chapters for their accomplish- ments. For more information on our brothers' successes turn to pages 4-5. These accomplishments would not be possible without the support of our alumni. Laying the foundation for our strong brotherhood today is para- mount to ensure our future. To date, 161 generous Oklahoma Alpha broth- ers and friends have answered the call and raised more than $1.7 million. Brothers, the time to act is now. The average alumni participation rate among Greek chapter campaigns is 25%. Our chapter has only reached 12% participation. With more than 1,300 active alumni, we are more than capable of attaining this goal. We have much to be thankful for, especially our membership in SigEp. Contributing to the Pride in Our Past, Ensuring Our Future campaign is the first step in reconnecting with your Oklahoma Alpha roots.
