Box 7842 austin, tx 78713 - 7842 Address Service Requested Beta Mu Achieving Academically Many Brothers Pursue Graduate Studies P IKE's core values have always been scholar- ship, leadership, athletics and being gentle- men. e young men of Beta Mu today have excelled in academics, particularly as University of Texas admission standards have accelerated over the last decade. Per the fall 2017 semester fraternity grade reports, which are tracked through UT's Dean of Students office, Pike actives earned a GPA of 3.245. is aca- demic performance placed us in a cohort of five fra- ternities all carding 3.2 GPAs, tying PIKE and four other competing chapters for 10th place amongst the 28 UT IFC fraternities in terms of GPAs. To- day, 47 of Beta Mu's 135 undergraduates maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. Another 45 hold GPAs between 3.0 and 3.49. Each year many Pikes pursue graduate school in business, medicine, law and other fields.
