What the Bible says about "Baptism? The word baptize, baptized, baptism
or baptising is used 93 times in the N.T. The amount of times this word is used
ought to tell us something. Jesus said, "Go therefore and make disciples of
all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son
and the Holy Spirit." (Matthew 28:19) Also in mark 16 Jesus said, "He who has
believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be
condemned." (Mark 16:16)
In the book of Acts we see the apostles and others following the Lord's instructions
given in the "Great Commission" quoed above. At the conclusion of Peter's ser-
mon he said, "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus
Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of
the Holy Spirit." (Acts 2:38)

Easter Egg Hunt planned Sat. March 31
The Town of Quartzsite Parks & Recreation Board is planning the annual
Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 31st. Get there early, as the hunt
begins at 9am SHARP at the Pavilion at Town Park near the Dog Park.
There will be baskets available for children to hunt for the candy fi lled
eggs. Wrapped candy (non-chocolate) donations are being accepted.
Contact Monica at 928- 916-4210 or drop off at Town Hall during regu-
lar business hours. Be sure to look inside the eggs for special tickets for
prizes! There will be special GOLD & SILVER Eggs for each age group.
Parents, grandparents and the public is welcome to watch the fun at the
park. All youngsters are welcome!
