Carolyn Bradley could say that life experiences have been the real on-the-job training. As a military wife with a husband on C his fourth tour to Afghanistan, Carolyn knows a bit about buying, selling and moving a home; she’s done it twice, all on her own with a small child in tow. That’s not to mention her professional background in banking and customer service. Carla grew up in a family business, watching her parents run the former arla Council and Carolyn Bradley may be new to real estate, but you Haymount Market on Morganton Road. As an adult, she spent 17 years working for the law firm of McGeachy, Hudson & Zuravel. There, she helped bring real estate transactions to a close – now she sees them through from start to finish. But what drew both women to real estate were the people. “You just don’t realize how stressful buying or selling a home can be,” Carla said. And sometimes folks come to it under unhappy circumstances – a death, divorce or job loss. “I want to be compassionate and have Council Carla a listening ear, to make that transition easier.” Carolyn, of course, can sympathize with the military spouse searching for a house in a new town all while balancing work and children. “It’s not about the numbers for me,” she says. “I want people to feel like I have their best interests at heart. I’m not trying to be a top producer … I’ve always believed that if you treat people like you want to be treated, the rest will come together. I want them to remember me because they had a good experience.” Carolyn Bradley - 797.2508 - CBradley@TownsendRealEstate.com • Carla Council - 309.3051 - CarlaC@TownsendRealEstate.com 46|Special Issue • 2009 Special Advertising Section
