(next to the cemetery) Daily, Monthly, Yearly RATES The Quartzsite Police Department has been receiving an increasing number of reports of counterfeit twenty dollar bills from our local businesses. This fi ctitious curren- cy is relatively good quality and will typically pass visual inspec- tion, but will be detected by the use of counterfeit detection pens. QPD encourages our local businesses to remain vigilant when accepting paper currency and always use counterfeit detection measures to ensure you are receiving genuine notes. QPD Offi cers will continue to perform routine business checks to educate business personnel and deter would- be thieves. Using, possessing and/or manufacturing fi ctitious currency is a felony crime and violators can be prosecuted by the State of Arizona and/or the federal government. All reports of counterfeit currency will be forwarded to the United States Secret Service. QPD takes counterfeiting seriously and will vigorously investigate these reports to identify the sus- pects and put them in jail. Chief William Ponce Town of Quartzsite Police Department Be on the lookout for counterfeit bills
