SETTING THE STANDARDS HIGH Chapter Increases GPA and Philanthropic Efforts B eta Sigma started the 2017-18 school year strong in academics and philanthropic efforts. I am constantly amazed at the dedication and effort our members put forth to the values of our organization and relationships with one another. SISTERS ACHIEVE HIGH GPA This past spring we achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.19 and a semester GPA of 3.23. Both are significant increases from our past academics. We hope to keep the momentum going as the year progresses. BETA SIGMA SUPPORTS HOUSE DIRECTOR IN TIME OF NEED Our sisters continue to support others through annual events to raise funds in our Walk to End Alzheimer's, Give Hope, Fight Poverty's Starry Night event, and through a GoFundMe page rais- ing more than $1,500 for our house director, Mom Carrie, who lost her son unexpectedly in early August. I am proud to be part of a legacy that continues to live with heart. Thanks to the constant support from our alumnae, the chapter stands strong for future generations of Beta Sigmas.
