Epsilon Beta Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma at Colorado State University Fall 2017 e Kappa H t Honoring Our Past, Securing the Future of Epsilon Beta Chapter Epsilon Beta Announces $750,000 Campaign F or 61 years, the Epsilon Beta Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma has been a shining example of sisterhood, leadership, and enduring friendships on the Colorado State campus. This sisterhood has touched each and every one of our lives and helped us to become the women we are today. As we made our way through the new experiences of college life, Kappa was our family and the house of Epsilon Beta was our home away from home. Preserving Our Chapter, Growing for the Future In September 1960, a move was made to our present home. It was refurbished in 1973, 2012, and our most recent remodel was done to our basement in summer 2015. Our chapter house has been a fundamental piece of Epsilon Beta's identity for 57 years. Greek life is thriving not only at Colorado State, but nationwide. Our beloved chapter house can no longer accommodate our membership. This limited space creates many challenges. Our women can no longer host chapter meetings at the house and have to go to the Lory Center on campus. It also puts us at a disadvantage during formal recruitment and simply keeps the women from bonding. It is the Epsilon Beta House Corporation's goal to provide a safe, comfortable chapter house that fits the needs of our growing chapter. $750,000 Campaign Goal After careful planning and research, we are thrilled to announce the Honoring Our Past, Securing the Future of Epsilon Beta Chapter campaign. This $750,000 campaign effort will ensure our collegiate sisters have a home that enhances their daily chapter activities, personal educational needs, and will ensure that future generations of Epsilon Betas are thriving. Working with Elder Construction, the Epsilon Beta House Board has developed a strategic approach to renovating the chapter house. Capacity will increase to 69 beds and the goal is to get a pledge class to live together for one year. We Need Your Support Epsilon Beta's alumnae leadership is ready to take on this vital project, but we cannot do it alone. Early commitments from just 46 alumnae and friends have raised $263,795 toward our campaign goal. This is an impressive start, but we need your help to reach or exceed our campaign goal of $750,000. This is a time to reflect on your own Kappa Kappa Gamma experience. Remember the impact Epsilon Beta had on you and imagine how this chapter will affect the lives of future sisters. It is only through the lifelong bonds of the Kappa sisterhood that future generations may share the same wonderful experience. We need your support now more than ever before! In the coming weeks, you will receive additional information on this exciting project, the campaign, and ways in which you can join our growing list of loyal alumnae supporters. We have all been given the opportunity to make a long-lasting impact on the future of our chapter, and together we can truly aspire to be. Thank you for your love, loyalty, consideration, and support of Kappa Kappa Gamma at Colorado State University.
