When we think back on our undergraduate years, we can't imagine what it would have been like without Beta. Like us, you probably made very close friends, closer than you would have outside of a fraternity. These men are not only your friends, they're your brothers. You likely were, whether you knew it or not, a role model or a mentor to a younger member. You probably entered Beta as a mere teenager, but left as a good man. Membership in Beta Omicron gave us so much, and we were thrilled to continue the tradition in our newly purchased home at 2311 Shoal Creek Blvd. This is a momentous step forward in our campaign, but our work is far from over. Projects like this don't happen without the time, effort, and financial resources of many. This is where you come in. As a Beta man, you were provided with wonderful opportunities that helped shape who you are today; we are asking that you provide the same for future generations of members. We need to reach and even exceed our $2.5 million goal to fund this project and leave our beloved Chapter in a good place financially. We are $456,000 away from our goal, and we plan to reach this with your help! Although our Chapter boasts a rich history of success, we must plan for the future to keep our strong traditions alive. The active men of Beta are doing their part to ensure our legacy remains intact. Chapter membership is now 118 brothers strong. These honorable young men continue to impress, especially in the last year. Their recent accomplishments include three individual Dean of Student award winners and the approval of our charter at the Beta National Convention in Salt Lake City. The Chapter is also led by a distinguished group of advisors who were honored as the Advisory Team of the Year at National Convention. With this momentum, there has never been a better time to invest in Beta Omicron. Brothers, we have two challenges for you: think about your own experience and how it impacted you, and then fill out the enclosed pledge form to support the project financially. We will be proud to add your name to our growing list of supporters on page 2. Yours in _kai_, Campaign Chairmen Louis Baldwin '68 and Mac Churchill '68 The 3,036-square-foot property at 2311 Shoal Creek Boulevard in Austin was built in 1949 and sits on .38 acres.
