Our Goals E nsuring the academic success of our members and assisting the chapter in recruiting and retaining quality men are certainly top priorities of the alumni leadership. If we are to achieve these goals, we must be proactive and forward thinking in our approach. We must set the standard for fraternity housing. In addition to being considered the premier AGR facility in the country, our goal is to be the most student-centric Greek house at Purdue University. With other fraternity chapters completing large-scale renovations or new construction recently and others making plans to do so, now is the time to upgrade and plan for our future. We must continue our role as a complement to a well-rounded education. Alpha Gamma Rho taught us things we could not learn in the classroom. e lessons of leadership, character, and personal responsibility are only the beginning of a very long list of traits enhanced by the Delta experience. If we expect future generations to carry on our historical success, we can settle for nothing less than the finest facility and resources for our current and future undergraduate members. We must create modern space that is conducive to a fraternal experience. While the heart of a fraternity experience today is the same as it always has been, fraternity chapters like ours have existed for 100-plus years because of their ability to evolve over time. With a shi to more individually accommodating spaces, we aim to keep the fraternity house a place where fellowship and brotherhood among men can take place whenever and wherever. Our Plan T he Delta alumni and undergraduate leadership have developed a solid plan to address the long-term viability of the fraternity experience on the Purdue campus. rough careful study, assessment, and planning, it has been determined that updates and maintenance to the chapter house are necessary, and the fraternity must invest in our home to meet the needs of today's students. Working with local firm KJG Architecture, we developed a tactical approach to our future. An emphasis has been placed on providing ample study place and a competitive and attractive living environment. e goal is a high-quality, durable renovation that will provide a safe living and state-of-the-art learning environment for generations. Aer receiving further input from alumni and undergraduates over the course of the spring 2017 semester, this proposed renovation has a very simple goal—bring the chapter house into the 21st century. We are striving for a high-quality, durable structure that will fuel future AGRs' leadership, character, and personal growth.
