Dale F. Peel '66 traveled to the Bahamas for
a pledge class reunion and enjoys keeping in
touch with his Brothers. Dale lives in Red Feath-
er Lakes, Colo., with his wife, Lynn.
Nevin K. Waters, D.D.S. '68 lives in Olathe,
Kan., with his wife, Lois. He and his daughter

John C. Schaake '73 lives in Ester, Alaska, where
he is the owner and operator of Jayhawk Gold

William W. Hutton II '75 has served as the
municipal court judge for Bonner Springs, Kan.,
since 2003. In November 2016, he ran for the
Kansas State Senate as the democratic candidate

Steven E. Brownback '76 and his wife, Patti,
are involved in spiritual retreats and active in
the arts in Overland Park, Kan. Steve consults
with local utilities and municipalities to con-
vert street lights to LED solid state technology.

Gerald T. Rosenlund '57 retired in 1995 after
working for 35 years at DuPont. He served on
the McLeod Hospital board for 24 years, and is
very involved in community activities. He and
his wife, Barbara, live in Florence, S.C., and have
four children, 14 grandchildren, and two great-

David T. Runyan '58 enjoys the good life in
sunny Altamonte Springs, Fla., with his wife
of six years, Cecily. A combination of painting
classes, bocce ball, theater, and travel keeps him

Walter A. Strauch '58 sees John Husser '58
and Thomas Moore '58 almost annually. He and
his wife, Shirley, have enjoyed road scholar trips
in Alaska, the Oregon Coast, Yosemite, Nova
Scotia, and Gettysburg. Their four children and
seven grandchildren live within a two-hour drive
in four different states. Walter and Shirley live in

Bruce G. Oberg '61 and his wife, Karen, live in
Lake Worth, Fla. Their son, Steve '85, lives two
blocks away. Bruce invites any Brothers needing

F. Alan Stamper '64 lives in Rio Verde, Ariz.,
with his wife, Phyllis. He spent 40 years in the
insurance and employee benefits business. He
founded a prescription drug benefit company,
DrugCard Inc., and served as the CEO until his re-
