Motivated for Success Epsilon Omicron Adopts New Mission Statement T hrough our unwavering commitment to success in philanthropic, academic, social, and fraternal endeavors, Alpha Tau Omega at Oklahoma State has established itself both as one of the premier fraternity chapters on our campus, and one of the most successful ΑΤΩ chapters in the country. FOLLOWING THE CREED The newly adopted mission statement of Epsilon Omicron is "to cultivate scholarship, fellowship, and character in men by developing leaders with a heart for service using Christian-based principles, and the values embodied in the creed of Alpha Tau Omega." These are not just words to our brothers, but rather a reflection of the firmly held beliefs that we all share. Epsilon Omicron has relied upon these shared values and beliefs to extend our track record of past success and to strive to create a brotherhood that truly lives up to the ideals embodied in our ritual. ACHIEVING EXCELLENCE AND MEASURING SUCCESS In keeping with tradition, our Chapter remains competitive in every aspect of OSU Greek life. During the spring semester, Epsilon Omicron was recognized for our excellence in a variety of areas by the Interfraternity Council, Oklahoma State University, and the National Fraternity. Although these well-deserved recognitions are always appreciated, it is important to remember that the true success of our fraternity is not measured by the number of awards we receive or recognition given to us by external entities. The true measure of our success lies in the quality of men that our fraternity produces and the bonds of brotherhood that our Chapter helps to create. THANKFUL FOR ALUMNI SUPPORT With our new mission statement in the forefront of our minds, we believe that there is no limit to what our Chapter can accomplish in the future, and we hope that you share in our excitement for our endeavors. We thank our generous alumni for your continued support, and we owe a great deal to our brothers before us. Leading our Chapter over the past year has been both the most humbling and rewarding experience of my life. It is an honor to have played a small part in extending the legacy of our Chapter to the next generation of brothers at Oklahoma State. Love and Respect, Nathan Turvaville '14 Chapter President (405) 780-1702 nate.turvaville@okstate.edu 1 2 3 4
