We have raised $4,033,867 toward our fundraising goal. Due to the support of numerous alumni, parents, and friends, some major renovations have been completed and the result is spectacular. No doubt that our renovations have made a huge impact on recruitment. This fall the Chapter had a very strong recruitment with 100% retention. And our Beta Mu brotherhood is strong; they support each other and encourage each other to be better men. As I look back over the past three years as Beta Mu's capital campaign chairman, I have been not only impressed but inspired by the tireless work of our House Corporation and campaign board. Coupled with that was the dedication and financial support of our alumni and undergraduates to secure a sound and safe Fraternity House for members to live in during their college years. Truly, without the loyal support of our members who contributed dollars early on, the renovations we've done wouldn't be possible. So, to the 245 of our membership that has already contributed or pledged to the capital campaign, I extend a hearty thank-you! Though Major Renovations Complete, We Need to Finish Campaign Strong A major accomplishment was achieved over the last couple of years thanks to your contributions. While we surely have a very nice Chapter House that allows us to compete at Purdue, we want to ensure the Chapter maintains its success with the overall facility. We cannot maintain our home if we do not have the finances in place to carry day-to-day operating costs and provide for our active Chapter. Your Support Still Necessary for Remaining Critical Projects Pledges are still needed to cover the entire project cost and to finish our remaining projects. For those of you who have given generously, you have made our success possible. If you are able, please consider extending that pledge another year or making an additional contribution. For those of you who have not given, we appreciate any amount you feel you can give toward this important project. Every dollar counts to help us reach our fundraising goal of $5 million. Matching Gift Challenge Still in Play— Deadline Fast Approaching Our anonymous donor has agreed to extend his matching gift challenge to ensure others can participate. What a great opportunity! We've seen great success with this matching gift challenge, as more than 60 brothers have pledged $75,638 toward this match. The campaign is ending July 31, 2017. Time is almost up in helping out with this campaign and this challenge. All donors pledging at least $5,000 by July 31 will see their names on a prominent plaque displayed in the Chapter House. Remember, we have a five-year pledge program to stretch your gift to its full potential, and you The Return to Dominance Campaign to End July 31 Last Chance to Add Your Name to the Contributors List can make your gift tax-deductible through the Beta Theta Pi Foundation. Many of our brothers have used this program to make a larger gift. Use the pledge form enclosed to make your pledge today. Your support makes a big difference and I thank you. Please come to the Chapter House this fall to see your dollars at work and to celebrate our success.
