Eleven Eleven Report Gamma Tau Chapter of Delta Tau Delta university of kansas n spring 2017 Remembering all friends and brothers, what a great eperience! Who inspired you as an undergraduate? What did you learn about leadership? How is your life different because of Gamma Tau Chapter? I f I were to ask every Brother these questions, it's guaranteed their answers would vary. Hopefully, they would all be in agreement that while each Delt experience is unique, they are all a positive reflection of their time spent at the University of Kansas. I hope you're able to look back at the truly life-changing experience at Gamma Tau Chapter and recall the many benefits your Delt membership has brought into your life. It's time to join and celebrate the success of our great chapter. To the 126 brothers and friends who have donated $1,067,874 to the Gamma Tau: The Next 100 Years campaign, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. And to those who have delayed your support, I hope you'll look back at your Gamma Tau experience and see what gifts it has given you. Remember, all donors who pledge $2,500 or more will have their name included on a plaque permanently displayed in the newly renovated Shelter. We would love to add even more names to the esteemed donor list. To celebrate the great impact Delt has had on us all, we welcome you October 7th for Homecoming and an upscale tailgate like only the Delts can have. Come view the updated Shelter and look for your name on the Gamma Tau: The Next 100 Years campaign donor plaque. House Celebration October 7th Will Reunite Delts for a Tailgate to Celebrate the Successful Conclusion of Our Capital Campaign Gamma Tau: The Next 100 Years Campaign Ends May 31 Brothers and guests can enjoy tailgating before and during the game at the Shelter, touring the facility at your leisure. Brothers, I look forward to seeing you all October 7th! This weekend will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our accomplishments thus far. A list of our current donors can be found on page 2. A fter concluding a busy fall semester filled with Homecoming, playing in a flag football league, two formals, dinner swaps with sororities, and hosting a philanthropic event, we look forward to building on these accomplishments as we complete the school year this spring. We have seen strengths as social excellence has been demonstrated, and our new executive officers are focused on academic excellence this year. Football Champs Last fall, we won the Greek and university league flag football tournament and placed third in Homecoming, which set a precendent of social excellence. We look forward to continuing this success. Events such as Homecoming and recreational sports have solidified Brotherhood between members in our house. Our success in these events was contingent on full support from each member in the house, further exhibiting the significance of Brotherhood at Gamma Tau Chapter. New Philanthropic Endeavors We concluded the fall semester by hosting a philanthropic event in November. We hosted Delt Dogs at the Shelter, where we served hot Strengthening the Brotherhood Gamma Tau Pursues Academic Excellence (Continued on page 3) Brothers participating in KUDM, a dance marathon promoting awareness for children with health problems.
