BlueWater Resort & Casino is sponsoring the Colorado River Blues Festival and is hosted by the American Legion. on Saturday, March 11th. The show starts at 1 p.m. with Paul Winer, who will also be doing some songs in between the other bands. He will be accompanied by his gui- tar player Steve Hohstadt. This FREE event is a fundraiser for The American Legion's Veterans Helping Veterans Program. Mon- etary donations will accepted at the gate - Plus there will be an ALR Raffl e of donated items from vari- ous businesses. Entertainment for the afternoon in- clude Paul Winer, of Quartzsite, per- forming Shuffl e Boogie Woogie Blues on Piano and vocals. CROSSCOTT of Lake Havasu will be performing Red, Rock & Blues. The Outbacks from Phoenix will be playing Blues Rock, Classic Rock & More. Laurie Movan Band of Lakewood Calif. per- forms her Red Hot Blues Rock. Plus there will be a Motorcycle Show hosted by American Legion Riders Post 46 from 1 pm to 4 pm. This is a opportunity to show your bike & win some prizes! (Open to all riders attending the Blues Fes- tival) Proceeds from the show will also go toward the benefi t for Veter- ans Helping Veterans Program, an organization that does all it can to help veterans with things they need the most. It will be held in the outdoor Blue- Water Outdoor Amphitheater, so you might want to bring a seat cushion and be sure to bring a coat in case it gets chilly in the late after- noon or evening. BlueWater Casino & Resort is located at 11300 Resort Drive, Parker, Arizona. This is a great cause so please come out and enjoy some really good blues music and help the veterans in need. Look for "PUFF" the Dragon The BLM would like to invite the public to provide local input and expertise into its travel manage- ment planning for Bouse, Cactus Plain, Wendn, and Alamo Travel Management Areas. Three meet- ings will be held between Feb 28th and March 2nd where the public can share their knowledge and ex- pertise as well as share route data independently collected.
