FOR EXCELLENCE
LUANNE HAGGARD
CERTIFIED HIGHER EDUCATION PROFESSIONAL (CHEP) IN CAMPUS OPERATIONS
CHIEF ACADEMIC OFFICER — AMERICAN BUSINESS & TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY
How many years of experience do you have
in higher education?
I have 25 years of experience in higher education.
How did you begin your career in higher
education?
My career in higher education began as an adjunct instructor.
I taught undergraduate and graduate courses in American

my 25-year teaching career, I taught dual credit, Advanced
Placement and International Baccalaureate courses providing
further insight into higher education expectations and credit
policies. My career continues with American Business &
Technology University, where I began as director of graduate
studies and currently serve as chief academic officer.
