We have several items of clothing from these local business. We are selling them for only $1.00 each. Come check them out. - We are still assisting the Yuma Red Cross Chap- ter by collecting names for their free installation of free new 10-year lithium smoke alarms. Please come in and sign up. - Don't forget we have baby and adult diapers available at no cost. A simple photo identifi cation is all that is needed for this assistance. Town of Quartzsite provided funding for these through a Community Outreach Funding grant. The Salvation Army happenings - We also have a "Medical Room". Items are given as a "free loan". We currently have a wheelchair. We also have walkers, a variety of ankle, knee, and wrist braces, toilet seat risers, oxygen tubing, a con- centrator along with a variety of other small medi- cal devices. Please ask to see the Medical Room. - Come in and see the colorful Valentine's Day, 'Spread the Love' coloring entries we have displayed. Children be sure to pick up your prizes now, too. Look for the next event, to celebrate Easter. - A reminder, we will be closed, Monday, February 20th in honor of President's day. The tent show over and always sad because good share of our snowbirds move on also. We have had a really busy season at the thrift store and now we are able to make some nice donation's this month. We made donation's to: Quartzsite Metal Detector Club. They have a youth program which this helps. Quartzsite Fire Department for scholarship fund. This helps with equipment and materials for train- ees. Quartzsite Police Dept. for C.O.P.S. They are volunteers who help the elderly and people who can not get out who live in the community.
