The original mem- bers were Ed Bonham on guitar, Jan Korinek on bass, Harlan Nelson on rhythm guitar and Phyllis nelson on mandolin. The TRAVELERS have played for dances, shows, private parties and clubs all across the Western United States. Phyllis has since be- come inactive as a player, but is still very much a part of the group. This year the TRAVELERS have grown to include new members. Cookie Shannon is on drums, Carol Larson on violin, and Rick Mar- shall on guitar. The band will be performing a wide variety of music for your dancing/listen- ing pleasure Tuesday nights at the Quartzsite Senior Center on Moon Mountain Road. The dances are from 7:00pm - 9:30pm. Admis- sion is $4. Pancake breakfast Queen of Peace Catholic Church will begin host a Pancake Breakfast, Dec. 10 - 7:30 to 9:30 A.M. The church is located at 5005 E. Mock- ingbird St. (¾ mile East of ARCO Station) in Quartzsite. PANCAKE BREAKFAST - All the pancakes you can eat, plus you get Sausage, Eggs, Juice and Coffee or Tea for $5.00 per person. Our famous cactus syrup is served and available for purchase. Breakfast is served the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from November thru the fi rst week of March.
