By Joanne Winer The 4th annual Santa's Workshop Arts and Crafts Festival was held at Tyson Wells Show- grounds on Nov. 26 & 27, and was another big success again this year. The weather was a little chilly and windy some of the time, but it didn't stop the people from coming and seeing what all the crafters from all over the place as well as many local artisans had to offer. The event was sponsored by the Quartzsite Business Chamber of Commerce and hosted by Tyson Wells Enterprises again this year. Kym Scott has been a great supporter of the Business Chamber and the Town with his generosity, and it is very much appreciated. There were many new participants this year, bringing in some really different craft items and the shoppers were very happy to get some great bargains for themselves or as gifts for others. A very special thanks to Kym Scott, and also to his crerw for helping get the festival set up. Also special thanks to Tony Carnevale for all his extra running around and being the gofer, and to John Prutch for helping mark out the spaces again this year. Organizers would also like to thank all the crafters who made this such a success again this year--many of them have already reserved their spaces for next year!! Also thanks to everyone who came out, espe- cially since the weather was not so great, and also helped make this such a success. Looking forward to next year when we do it all again!!
