n an effort to raise donations to continue to keep our beautiful house
in immaculate shape and support our active members for years to
come, we are selling chapter room chairs for $1,000 each, which
includes a plaque on the back of the chair engraved with your name
and initiation year.
To order, send a check for $1,000 per chair payable to Alpha Upsilon

noted in the memo line, along with your name and initiation year. Mail

Mona Leslie Costley '55 was fortunate to be
at SMU on the Friday before the new chapter
house was officially opened. She and her
gentleman friend were able to tour the house—a
thoughtful active guided them through the
beautiful house. When she lived in the house,
there was only room to sleep 28 women. "What

Susan King Hurd '61 enjoys volunteering
in a kindergarten classroom and recently
traveled to the Amazon River in Brazil with
her husband Thomas. Susie lives in Carmel, IN.
Barbara Davis Colley '62 loves retirement!
She spends time gardening and visiting friends
and her wonderful grandchildren. Barbara and
her husband Terry enjoy doing a number of
activities together; he races sports cars and she
enjoys going with him. They have a lot of friends
doing the same, so it's great to be with them at
the races. Barbara lives in Houston, TX, with her

Carol Duncan '76 has joined the Alpha
Upsilon Advisory Team as Program Adviser.
In October, she and a group of DGs from the
'70s met in Galveston for a mini-reunion. Some

Amy Patterson Cardin '78 was busy this
fall helping to plan the wedding of her oldest
daughter, Caitlin, who was married on August

completed her Reiki Master Training and is
working with hospice clients in addition to
seeing astrology clients. She lives in Newton,

Kathryn Gilbert Vines '92 changed jobs in
July 2015 after working with the same team
for a decade right out of college. She is the
senior director of human relations at Freedom
Truck Finance in Dallas, TX. Kathryn lives in

their two children Blake (12) and Tyler (10).
