Bull Canyon Overlook, Copper Ridge, Poison Spider and Wil- low Ridge are all trackway sites locat- ed on BLM Land just a few miles from Moab. The Mill Canyon site contains both trackways and bones. The Di- nosaur Stomping Grounds Tracksite has multiple trackways. When visit- ing these sites, stay on the roads and trails, practice leave no trace princi- ples, and keep in mind that collecting dinosaur fossils is prohibited. If you wish to collect fossils, head to Delta to the trilobite collection locations instead. There are several trilobite sites on BLM lands, however they can be diffi cult to fi nd. For a great Trilobite digging experi- ence, visit the U-Dig pay-to-dig quarry where you can dig and split shale all day long for a moderate price. The trilobites found here are world-class specimens of all sizes. Elrathia kingi is the most common trilobite collect- ed here, but several other genera have been found at the U-Dig site. For more information on fossil col- lecting and viewing sites in Utah and to purchase Utah trilobites and dino- saur fossils, visit RocksInMyHead.
