. 3 Sigma Kappa Delta Upsilon Focuses on Philanthropy, Campus Involvement, and Sisterhood he Walk to End Alzheimer's was extremely successful, and Delta Upsilon raised over $25,000 for the Alzheimer's Association. We had women take different shifts at the walk to help organize the event, talk to participants, and clean up afterward. This was our most successful year, and we are excited to see what next year brings! mom'S dAy memorieS Mom's Day was very fun this year; women went out to a farm that had a hayride, photo booth, karaoke, pumpkin carving, pumpkin painting, and s'mores! The photo booth had different hats and glasses each mom and daughter could wear. The photo booth also created a fun scrapbook with a strip of pictures of each mom and daughter that they gave to us after the event. It was so much fun to look at all the photos after the event. Everyone truly enjoyed spending time with their moms and doing fall- themed things. HomeComing HigHligHtS Homecoming 2016 was a huge success. The overall theme for Homecoming was Welcome Home and our team theme was Bringing Home the Gold. Sigma Kappa was paired with the men of Kappa Sigma and Delta Chi. Our team banner took second place in the banner competition and we also placed second in the Plaster Student Union window painting. For the first time in a while, Delta Upsilon placed in the Greek event, Yell Like Hell! This event consists of a stomp routine created by each chapter. This was so exciting for us because we were the only sorority to place in the competition that night. We worked hard as a team to create an amazing float that had Boomer Bear lighting an Olympic torch on the football field. Throughout all of the stress during the week, we all had fun and had another successful Homecoming week. We were also thrilled to see so many alumnae at our Sigma Kappa tent at the tailgate this year! AlumnAe AlwAyS welCome The continued success of Delta Upsilon Chapter would not be possible without the loyal support of our wonderful alumnae and parents. As always, please feel free to stop by the chapter house anytime you are in the area and meet the young women who are following in your footsteps and carrying on your legacy at Delta Upsilon.
