the lion's roar Thank You, generous alumni I n spring 2016, 10 alumni generously responded to our call for supporting Illinois Beta and donated $2,830. These funds will be used to provide valuable leadership opportunities for active members and help New Hampshire Beta establish itself as a top chapter on campus. Leadership Schools make a vital impact on our chapter. Please make a donation to the educational foundation today so we can continue to send brothers to Leadership Schools in the future. Donations are also used to make updates to the chapter house. We appreciate your generous contributions. YOU are what keeps New Hampshire Beta successful. Contributors from spring 2016 are listed below in their cumulative giving level and are in graduation order. If an error has been made in recording the amount of your gift, please contact our campaign coordinator at (785) 843-1661. Thank you for your support! It takes coordinated efforts by both our active brothers and alumni. Of course the active chapter, through its officers, is responsible for managing itself on campus to achieve excellence in grades, community support, individual and chapter activities, intramurals, and participation in university events. The key to this is ongoing recruitment of men of good character and giving them the opportunities to maximize their college experiences. However, the best group of men cannot rise to their potential without dedicated alumni who volunteer their time to create the best possible environment for the chapter to flourish. We can achieve this through the Alumni Advisory Board. The Alumni Advisory Board and its members are organized around the 12 core areas of chapter operations: *Chapter Management *Recruitment *Member Education *Leadership *Ritual *Scholarship *Service/Philanthropy *Health and Safety *University/Campus Relations *Alumni Relations *Housing *Financial Management This is a call to alumni for service. All are welcome. All are needed. Meetings are held in Durham at the chapter house, so while this commitment may seem a better fit for those who live in the area, board members may contribute remotely from New Hampshire. Therefore, please do not let distance prevent you from joining to support the chapter that formed the foundation for each of our lives. Please take time to consider service to help build New Hampshire Beta to be one of the best on campus and in Sigma Alpha Epsilon.
