Mr. James "Jamey" Franklin Goad Jr., age 44, of Grover, NC, went to meet Jesus face to face on October 29, 2016. Funeral services were held at Midview Baptist Church. Hill THERMAN GEORGE HEFNER Mr. Therman George Hefner, age 69, of Lincolnton, NC, passed away on October 30, 2016. Funeral Services were held at Gospel Way Baptist Church. The burial was held at Providence Memorial Cemetery in Catawba with Military Honors. Mr. Hefner served our country in the U.S. Navy Sea Bees dur- ing the Vietnam and later served in the National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Therman "Shorty" Hefner and Ruth Spann Hefner; a brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Janie Hefner; and a brother, Allen Hefner.
