Coyote in Quartzsite, across from ARCO. The public enjoyed touring the facility, while partaking of a lunch of sloppy joes, hot dogs, chips and drinks. The Quartzsite Business Chamber of Commerce held a rib- bon cutting ceremony on the west side patio. Cee Carnevale, President of Quartzsite Business Chamber welcomed the new managers to Quartzsite. Carnevale stated, "This new facility will be good place to hold all kinds of events and we are so happy to have them as members of our chamber. We are glad to be able to have this ribbon cutting to welcome them to our town and wish them all the best in their new venture." Following the ribbon cutting, folks went back inside where Paul Winer and his friends were play- ing music on the new stage. The facility also includes a dry bar, ar- cade room, kitchen, dining area, dance fl oor and seating near the stage. It will be a wonderful place to hold special events like wed- dings, birthdays, dinners, fund- raisers, or benefi ts. The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) riders from Quartzsite men's auxiliary and Post 769 Commander Bob Braa performed a fl ag raising cer- emony at the front corner of the building. They raised the Ameri- can, Canadian and Arizona fl ags on the three new fl agpoles. Managers Nancy and Saltie Olaf- son wish to thank everyone for coming out to show their support for this new business, especially Roy Austin and Bob Cleveland from RJK Construction, who did all the remodeling on the building, which has been vacant for many years until now. She also wants to thank Paul Winer and his friends for the music, the VFW volunteers for serving and for the fl ag rais- ing ceremony, and the Business Chamber for the ribbon cutting. The Riggles RV Community Center is open from 8 to 4 Monday to Fri- day and from 9 to 3 Saturdays and Sundays.
