Campaign to End dECEmbEr 31 After many months of consistent effort from countless individuals, the Anchored in Tradition, Securing Our Legacy at the University of Iowa capital campaign for Tau Chapter is set to end on December 31, 2016. With $693,345 in commitments, we are inching closer to the $800,000 mark, which we hope to meet by our campaign deadline! 14% of alumnaE HavE givEn We are extremely thankful for the response from our generous donors. We have commitments from 219 Tau sisters, which is about 14% of our alumnae base. Due to your involvement, we were able to complete our renovations and make many updates that were needed. The collegians are thrilled with the outcome and couldn't be more proud of their new and improved home at the University of Iowa. CHaptEr WomEn Work to protECt Your invEstmEnt Our deeply committed House Corporation members are active in protecting and preserving our Chapter house, which is not only our mutual "investment" but also the emotional focal point of our common bond. The undergraduate women are good stewards, and they care about its condition. Your gifts arE still nEEdEd Despite all that has been done, it is critical that we continue to work toward our financial goal. It's time for all of our sisters to add their names to our list of loyal donors. Please complete and mail the enclosed pledge form today or go online at http://uiowadeltagamma.kintera. org/donate to make your contribution to Delta Gamma. If you have already given, please consider stretching your pledge amount further or ask those who have not donated to give. Each donor who contributes $2,500 or more will be recognized on a plaque prominently displayed in the Chapter house. Congratulations, 1968 plEdgE Class! Last fall, we initiated a challenge to award the pledge class with the highest percentage of donor participation. The winner would receive naming rights to the anchor in our front lawn. The 1968 pledge class won, with 59% participation. We hope that those sisters are proud that their class will forever be remembered for their participation in the campaign. Plaques and naming rights are meaningful because they commemorate a moment in time that warrants being remembered. The renovation of our Tau home and this historic project is certainly worthy of that honor. The campaign plaque will hang in the Tau halls long after we're gone, and future sisters will read the names inscribed and know that we cared enough to create a better future for them. Ensure your name is not missing from this plaque and consider sending your gift today. It's not too late! You can help. Please send in your first-time gift or consider extending your pledge before our deadline of December 31, 2016. We need your help to bring this project to completion.
