Maranatha MATTERS The Mission of Maranatha Christian Academy is to train and equip students for life and for service to Jesus Christ through a Biblical world view, character development, and academic excellence. FALL 2016 M C A on a M issi on Inspiring Students to Become World Changers G od is at work at Maranatha Christian Academy. Students are being equipped for life and service to Jesus Christ. Teachers are pouring knowledge, wisdom, and life into students with the intent of inspiring world changers who have matured spiritually, in character, and in their worldview. Hearts are being turned to service in God's kingdom. Why does this matter? Our world desperately needs Christians who are salt and light and who live in a way that points others to our Savior. It is an urgent matter that parents, schools, and churches connect with young people, as the world is becoming more aggressive in its efforts to shape their hearts and minds. Focusing on Financial Health, Strengthened Communication MCA is poised for success with a team that is working diligently to be all that God has called them to be. The financial picture has improved significantly due to God's blessing through careful stewardship and His people's generosity (see page 3 for more financial information). We have a rapidly growing preschool that bodes well for the future. And now we are taking additional steps toward addressing some of our long-term goals. We are finding strategic partners who are helping us grow our community through reconnecting with alumni, alumni parents, as well as other MCA supporters. We are improving our communication efforts to share the story and vision of MCA. We will do this through a revamped Matters newsletter that will be distributed three times a year. We are also searching for partners who can help us fill more seats across the Academy and connect with more people and companies to fund growth. Our goal is to grow the ministry of MCA. To do this, we need God to work through people like you to meet the needs of the Academy, which are to retain and attract top-quality personnel, have effective and attractive facilities, and obtain the resources that increase our ability to deliver our vision of inspiring world changers for our Lord.
