A s we near our 90-year anniversary as a chartered fraternity at the University of Oklahoma, our 218 active brothers are working hard to continue building on the rich history here at Gamma-Rho Zeta. Driven toward outstanding academic performance, campus leadership, and extracurricular involvement, the men of Gamma-Rho are continuing to set an example of leadership for our peers, prospective students, and surrounding community. A YeAR in Review The 2015-16 academic year was highlighted by many accomplishments for the men of the Gamma- Rho Zeta. As a culmination of the hard work and dedication of all of our active brothers, the Chapter was awarded runner-up in the President's Trophy competition. Below are highlights from the past year. • In the community, our members logged more than 3,500 volunteer hours, compared to the previous years' 2,600 hours. • In the classroom, our average member GPA was a 3.2; .05 points above the IFC average. • In what sports analysts across the country deemed a "rebuilding year" for the men at 904 College Avenue, skeptics were turned believers as Lambda Chi secured its 23rd University of Oklahoma intramural championship. • Lambda Chi members continued to hold some of the highest leadership positions on campus, including Relay for Life chairman, vice chairman for HSLC, vice chairman of College Bowl, men's lacrosse president, and a voting member of the IFC executive board. inCReAsing AluMni involveMenT It's an exciting time for our chapter in terms of alumni engagement.
