Hair, Nails, and Pedicure Services PARKER – La Paz County School Superintendent Jacquline Price has made appointments to the following school district governing boards: Bouse Elementary School District— Robin Cooper and Brenda Garcia were appointed to fill two vacancies on the Bouse Elementary School District Governing Board, effec- tive May 2, 2016. Both of these appointments expire on December 31, 2016, and both appointees are eligible to run for a regular term in the November 2016 General Election. The board position filled by Robin Cooper will be up for re-election again in 2018 and the board position filled by Brenda Garcia will be up for re-election in 2020. Parker Unified School District— Marlon Short, Jr. was appointed to fill the vacancy on the Parker Unified School District Governing Board, effective May 9, 2016. This appointment will expire on Decem- ber 31, 2016. Mr. Short is eligible to run for a regular term in the November 2016 General Election. This position will be up for re-elec- tion again in 2018. Quartzsite Elementary School Dis- trict—Sally Kelley was appointed to fill the vacancy on the Quartzsite Elementary School District Gov- erning Board, effective May 9, 2016. This appointment will expire on December 31, 2016. Mrs. Kelley is eligible to run for a regular four year term in the November 2016 General Election. There are 16 seats up for re-election in the six La Paz County school districts. If you are interested in running for a seat on your local school board, please contact the La Paz County Office of the School Superintendent for information and a 2016 Elec- tion Packet. The last day to file is August 10, 2016. The new event will be held the first Sunday of the month from Decem- ber through March.
