QPD Arrest Report The following arrests were made by Quartzsite Police Department APRIL 8 - APRIL 29, 2016 04/14: Paul Espinoza, 37, of Blythe, CA; was cited and released for 2 counts of Attempted Posses- sion of Drug Paraphernalia and Driving on a suspended License. 04/15: Santiago Leivas, 39, of Blythe, CA; was arrested for a misdemeanor warrant out of Quartzsite Justice Court, Original Charge of Public Peace and booked into the La Paz County Detention Facility. 04/15: Bernardina Gonzalez, 36, of Blythe, CA; was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Dangerous Drugs and booked into the La Paz County Detention Facility. 04/17: Sullivan Jim, 23, of Quartzsite, AZ; was arrested for Disorderly Conduct Domestic Vio- lence, and Interfering with Judicial Proceedings per Domestic Violence and was into Booked into the La Paz County Detention Facility. 04/17 Clifford Gant, 31, of Tucson, AZ; was arrest for a Mis- demeanor Warrant out of Lake Havasu City and Booked into the La Paz County Detention Facility. 04/20: Steven Schiller, 39, Of Quartzsite, AZ; was cited and re- leased for Attempted Possession of Marijuana. 04/22: Christopher Frazier, 45, of Quartzsite, AZ; was cited and released for a Dog at Large. 04/24: Hal Davidson, 61, of Quartzsite, AZ; was cited and released for Assault and Criminal Damage. 04/24: Travis Hopkins, 45, of Mesa, AZ; was arrested for 3 counts of Aggravated Assault Domestic Violence, Kidnapping Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Theft of Means of Transportation, Robbery, and a Felony Warrant out of AZ Department of Corrections for Pa- role Violation and booked into the La Paz County Detention Facility . 04/26: George Cairncross, 25, of Quartzsite, AZ; was arrested for Threats and Intimidation, Shop- lifting and Criminal Trespassing and booked into the La Paz County Detention Facility. 04/26: Jerry Arrellano, 28, of Quartzsite, AZ; was cited and released for Driving on Suspended License. 04/26: Steven Schiller, 39, of Quartzsite, AZ; was arrested for Domestic Violence Assault and Disorderly Conduct and booked into the La Paz County Detention Facility. 04/27: Timothy Sheridan, 37, of Sarasota, FL; was cited and re- leased for Attempted Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Pemberton 2/23/1964 - 4/22/2016 Paul D. Pemberton passed away peacefully in his sleep Friday, April 22, 2016 after a 16 month battle with lung cancer. Paul lived many places, and trav- eled extensively throughout his life, but always considered Quartzsite, AZ his home. Born to John and Esther Pember- ton, Paul was the second child and one of two boys. He was preceded in death by his mom and dad as well as his older brother, John, Jr. He is survived by his younger sister, Julie and her son, William, both of Sacramento, CA. Paul was surrounded by friends and family throughout his battle In Memoriam and was at peace in his final days. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
