WHAT'S INSIDE Council honors Quartzsite 4-H club Town plans 150 th celebration 1867 - 2017 ����� | C������� D��� M���� SEE 4-H PAGE 2 At the regular meeting Tuesday, April 26 Quartzsite Town Council honored Quartzsite's Denim and Dust 4-H Club . After Mayor Ed Foster read a Proclamation recog- nizing Quartzsite's Denim-N-Dust 4-H Community Club, Council Member Loretta Warner presented Certificates of Achievement to 4-H members in recognition of their accomplishments and promotion of Quartzsite. 4-H Leader Judy Pearson said, "We would like to thank everyone who helped and supported us this year. A spe- cial thanks to VFW Men's Auxiliary, Women's Auxiliary, the Quartzsite Community Thrift Store, the Quartzsite Improvement Assoc. (QIA), Miner's Depot, and the Gold Show for their help and generous donations." Please see the photo and the long list of accomplish- ments at the County Fair this year on Page 2. In honor of the founding of Quartzsite in 1867, the Town of Quartzsite, both chambers of commerce and business owners are planning a year of fun to cel- ebrate 150 years!
