Congratulations to Mrs. Pianga's class for winning a $5,000 grant for your school!! You were chosen out of all the participating schools in Arizona! Mrs. Pianga's 4th/5th grade class participated in the Blue Cross / Blue Shield of Arizona's Walk On program in February. They com- mitted to: 5 fruits and veggies a day, 2 hours or less of screen time, 1 hour of active play and ZERO sweetened drinks. For their par- ticipation they received certificates and backpacks. Also as participants Mrs. Pianga was able to apply for a grant. The grant is for a shade structure over the monkey bars and playground balls.
