On April 19th 2016, a Deputy from the La Paz County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a resi- dence off of Salome Road in refer- ence to a possible burglary. Upon his arrival, he identified three separate residences that had been broken into and "ransacked". During the course of his investiga- tion, he located three separate ho- micide victims who had died from apparent gunshot wounds. Two of the victims are believed to be mar- ried and sharing a residence and the third was located separately in another home. The victims/residences are lo- cated in an unpopulated area near Salome Road. With no witnesses or apparent motive, investigators had very little information to go off of. We are not giving out specific infor- mation on the location of this crime due to privacy issues and the fact that the investigation is ongoing. During the investigation, Detec- tives determined that one of the victim's vehicles was missing from the property. An "attempt to lo- cate" was then broadcasted nation- wide giving the description of the vehicle only. Within hours, the Glendale Police Department made contact with a male subject who was in possession of the victim's vehicle. According to the Glendale Police Department's Public Information Officer, shots were fired by the suspect but he eventually surrendered to Law En- forcement and was taken into cus- tody without any further incident. At this time, the suspect who was in possession of the victim's vehicle is only considered an "investigative lead". The investigation and crime scene is spread out between two different Counties and three differ- ent Law Enforcement jurisdictions. All three Law Enforcement Agen- cies are currently working together to try and solve this heinous crime (La Paz County Sheriff's Office, the Arizona Department of Pub- lic Safety and the Glendale Police Department). The victims have been identified as Lester (83 years old) and Ella (76 years old) Lindsay, a married couple from Wenatchee, Wash- ington. The third victim was Alice Boyd (81 years old), from Bingen, Washington. The autopsies were reportedly being completed Friday by the Pima County Medical Exam- iner. The suspect is currently being held at the Glendale Police Depart- ment pending the interview(s) and further investigation. If you have any information that may assist with this investiga- tion please call one of the three agencies: La Paz County Sheriff's Department (928) 669-6141 Glendale Police Department (602) 888-3908 Department of Public Safety (602) 223-2000 A road rage shooting took place in a Brenda RV Park Thursday, April 20. La Paz County Sheriff's office said it was completely unre- lated to the triple homicide off of Salome Road earlier this week. It was basically a "road rage" incident that continued on to a person's front yard. At about 3:30pm, Paul George was returning home to his residence at the Desert Gold RV Park in Brenda when he allegedly passed another driver on Highway 60 in a manner that "upset" the other driver. The other driver and his daugh- ter then followed him to his home and began yelling at him about his driving style. This verbal alterca- Road rage incident leads to shooting in Brenda RV Park tion quickly escalated when George walked into his home and alleg- edly, returned to the yard with a pistol, shooting the male subject (80 years old) and his daughter (45 years old). George was booked into La Paz County Detention Facility for 2 counts of Aggravated Assault and the two victims were flown by helicopter(s) for medical treatment
