Keeping those lessons in mind, Zach works as a Delta Chi leadership consultant. He has worked with 46 chapters this academic year. "I got started in this field because Delta Chi helped start and cultivate a passion for the Greek community," he stated. That passion turned into a job while he served as a Greek ambassador at K-State. Through his Delta Chi membership during the time of the recolonization of Delta Chi at K-State, Zach knew that he and his brothers were creating something that would leave a positive impact on the campus and the students that were becoming their brothers. "I was, and still am, very proud to be a member of Kansas State Delta Chi." Michael and Zach started as leadership consultants in 2015 and will continue to serve in that position during the 2016-17 academic year. Keith Cryderman '63 also served as a leadership consultant in the 1960s following his graduation from Kansas State. The most rewarding aspect of their Delta Chi membership that these alumni have in common is the chance to provide younger generations of Delta Chis the same opportunities they received, the ability to help guide them through a transformative period of development and growth, and a chance to create a brighter future for the Delta Chi fraternity as a whole. For these loyal alumni, it's a future worth providing and a legacy of brotherhood and friendship that will last a lifetime. Positive Delta Chi Experience (Continued from page 1) SAVE the DATE P lease join us on Saturday, September 17, as we watch the Cats take on the Florida Atlantic Owls. A tailgate with alumni and undergraduates will take place at Bill Synder Family Stadium, followed by a watch party at a local establishment (TBD) for those who do not attend the game. O n April 9, several alumni gathered in Manhattan to reconnect. The day began at the chapter house with lunch and catching up. After that, the group went to the Tallgrass TapHouse on Poyntz and enjoyed a series of local craft brews and a delicious meal. To end the evening, the group bravely conquered Aggieville, where alumnus Tyler Goevert '14 serenaded a group of mothers from a sorority's mom's weekend. All in all, we had a fantastic time welcoming our alumni back and enjoyed hearing about where they are in life. Seeing how much Delta Chi still means to our alumni motivates us as undergraduates to continue to push ourselves further to be the best Delta Chis that we can be. Seeing the joy on the faces of all who participated affirmed that Delta Chi is truly the brotherhood of a lifetime and makes my job worthwhile.
