KANSAS STATE UNIVERSITY page 3 A fter reflecting upon the 2015-16 year, it makes me extremely proud to share the successes and beneficial learning experiences of the men here at Kansas State. Ten members attended the Regional Leadership Conference hosted by the Southeastern Missouri State chapter. The conference allowed brothers to gain valuable experience, and they returned to Manhattan with several great ideas from other successful chapters in region four. Our chapter membership is holding strong at 70 members, with a spring class that brought in eight new members. Chapter Focused on Academics and Philanthropic Efforts Following the conclusion of the fall semester, our chapter performed exceptionally well in regards to academics. The overall 3.117 chapter GPA ranked us ninth out of 25 fraternities on campus. We are diligently striving to reach the top five at the end of the spring semester. The chapter hosted the third annual Fish Fry philanthropic event with Theta Xi, and we successfully ran our annual March Madness bracket challenge. With these two events, we expect to surpass our chapter goal of a $4,000 donation to the V Foundation for Cancer Research this year. The chapter hosted our annual Mom's Day this spring, which featured an auction with gifts donated by the mothers. This year's auction raised $3,400, all of which goes toward scholarships for our members. We had an oustanding attendance of 98 people, and we look forward to even more participation in the future. Alumni Always Welcome As always, if you have any questions about the undergraduate chapter, please do not hesitate to reach out to one of our officers. We'd love to hear from you! We cannot thank our parents and loyal alumni enough for their continued support of Delta Chi and Kansas State. If any alumni are ever in the Manhattan area, please feel free to stop by the chapter house to say hello and meet the young men who are following in your footsteps and carrying on your legacy.
