Phi Kappa Psi Ohio Delta Company 47 East 16th Avenue Columbus, OH 43201 Address Service Requested OHIO DELTA The Buckeye Phi Psi Guy thanks Phi Psi for polishing his character and helping him grow as a person and realize that there is value in helping others. Now, he finds time to give back to Phi Psi, and in 2010, he joined the Foundation's Board of Trustees. On top of that, Guy has been involved in Ohio Delta's capital campaign. "I had the opportunity to work with other alumni as they led the capital campaign for the restoration of the house. I was part of the group that decided it was time to make a change, and I think the campaign has led us to a very positive active Chapter," Guy says. As a way to encourage other brothers to stay involved and connected to Ohio Delta, Guy has been hosting gatherings in the fall for alumni from his era to get together and relive old memories. "I just think that alumni need to realize the importance of us investing in the future leaders of America and re-engaging in Phi Psi at Ohio State. I think they would be proud of the current state of Ohio Delta and get a sense of reward by re-engaging." Guy and his wife, Lisa, have three children, and they live in Campobello, S.C. In his spare time, Guy enjoys golfing, cooking, traveling, and tending to his horse farm. His e-mail is kybudguy@eagleky.com. Alumnus Reflects (Continued from page 3) t is once again my privilege to contribute to The Buckeye Phi Psi, and I am happy to report that things here are more promising, and gentlemanly, than the spectacle that already is the 2016 presidential election (although I may argue that the scene at the house on a Saturday night may be just as fascinating). On this subject of politics, I feel it may be appropriate for me to report to you the state of the Chapter. The Chapter remains strong, and continues to grow stronger. The current and outgoing executive teams led the Chapter to an outstanding position in many ways, including philanthropy, university and sorority relations, brotherhood, and financial management, among others. They continuously recruit top-quality men, and the roster contains brothers you would be proud to share that title with—and I highly suggest coming by when possible to understand the excellence that is within our walls. I will allow our current undergraduates to expound more upon the details, but if you have any immediate questions or comments, or would just like to reach out and connect, my information is below. Also in the political vein, you may be interested to know that the Ohio Delta Chapter now has its own Super PAC. Not for the presidential election (although several undergraduates are quite entrenched in the Kasich campaign), but for sorority "Man of the Year" competitions. They are working tirelessly to get as many Phi Psis as possible to win the covetous titles each of our closest sorority friends bestows each year. One candidate has already had an early nomination and victory, and I'm told Super Tuesday for the rest will be coming shortly. Finally, after losing a particularly close mentor and friend in Shane Yates, Ohio eta '97, the Chapter Advisor for Ohio Xi, I am continuously reminded to express my gratitude. Thank you for the many contributions, in many types of ways, that you make as a Phi Psi to continue to perpetuate the excellence of Ohio Delta. It continues to be more important, and makes more of a difference, in the lives of countless young men—mine included— than you may ever know. I cannot express the depth of my gratitude or appreciation, and I hope that I can help contribute in my own unique way to this tremendous success story for years to come.
