Alabama Alpha Mu Today:
Our Tradition Continues
W
hile there may be some differences in today's chapter compared to
the one you knew, there is an unbroken chain among the members of
Alabama Alpha Mu that has endured. All alumni can be proud of the legacy
we have helped create and the historical quality of our chapter that carries on
to date.
Our fraternity plays a significant role in the personal and professional
development of our members. Today's men are active in the chapter, in the
Auburn community, in intramurals, and in other campus organizations. The
undergraduate chapter is promoting the highest standards of friendship,
scholarship, and service for our members based upon the ideals set forth
by our founders. As you know, gentlemanliness is the starting point and the
indispensable quality of lasting friendships.
The men of SAE at Auburn have been and continue to be leaders and this is a
true testament to the support brought forth by our exceptional alumni. With a
membership exceeding 150, the collegians have enhanced their philanthropic
focus. Each active member participates in the organization and execution of
the Lee County Special Olympics. Additionally, they host Heroes Week at Au-
burn with three other fraternities to benefit Gameday for Heroes, a non-profit
organization that helps wounded, active duty, and veteran military personnel
experience a college sporting event with their families to the fullest.
